Emporia area youth are gathering to ring in the new year at the Common Ground New Year's Eve Party on December 31 from 8:30 pm - 12:30 am January 1. It will be held at the Potter-Beath Activity Center 2931 W 24th Ave. See Pastor T.R. if you have questions.
LCYOUTH - KYM TOUR NIGHT
There is going to be a KYM Tour night for LCYouth at Cross Point Church in Paola on Sunday, January 7 at 7pm. We will leave the LC parking lot at 5:30 pm and should be back by 10 pm. This will be a night of fun, worship and encouragement with other area AG church youth groups. See Pastor T.R. if you have questions.
21 DAYS OF PRAYER & FASTING
(January 7-27, 2024)
Prayer is most effective when it isn't something we do every now and then, but rather, a lifestyle we cultivate. To understand how to have a lifestyle of prayer, we can look at the example Jesus gave during His life on earth. In Mark 1:35, Jesus got up early in the morning and went to a designated place and spent time with His heavenly Father. That should also be our pattern...that we would regularly spend time in His presence. This year's "21 Days of Prayer and Fasting" is designed to help you seek God in that way through Prayer and Fasting. The hope is...you will see how much you need Him!

Life Church is offering all new comers the opportunity to join Life Church on Sunday, January 14, in the LC Office area at 9:15 am. If you would like know more about how Life Church works, what we believe, or you’re looking to become active in Life Church, “Get to Know” is the place for you. At the end of the class there will be an opportunity to become a member.
